Standardized tests have been criticized as a culturally-biased and imperfect gauge of an individual’s academic potential.  They are inherently unfair to the many smart students who are simply poor test takers.  However, they are a reality that every student has to face.

The path to higher education has become increasingly competitive, and test prep is no longer a luxury.  Over the past decade, an ever increasing majority has opted to take some form of class or instruction to obtain the highest possible standardized test results. Potential test takers know that they need to put themselves in the best possible position to compete, and there’s absolutely no denying that standardized test prep courses help to give students an edge over their academic competitors.

That’s why professional test prep needs to be inexpensive.  It should be available to everyone who’s willing to put the time and effort into studying for their future.  But in fact, the cost of many of today’s courses and classes is prohibitively expensive, which aggravates the existing cultural bias of standardized testing.

The high cost of standardized test prep relies, in our opinion, on the exploitation of student and parent fears.  Eager to guarantee the best possible results for their children, many agree to pay enormous sums for test prep instruction.  You don’t have to make that mistake.

Don’t be intimidated into thinking that ‘expensive’ equates to ‘superior.’  There are many reasons for the high cost of most standardized test prep courses, including high overhead costs, lack of competition, and the predatory intimation that consumers equate higher prices to better products.
