TEST-EASE offers an intensive six-week course to prepare your child for the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT).  We hold small, restricted classes that allow our instructors to address each student’s individual needs and concerns.  Our goal is to provide the best possible training for the SAT while maintaining a price that is reasonable and affordable.

The six-week TEST-EASE SAT course provides will provide your child with:  

• All the materials needed to prepare for the SAT, including practice tests;
• A comprehensive review of all the mathematics required for the SAT, including algebra, geometry, statistics and numerous types of word problems;
• Our exclusive techniques, strategies and “tricks” for dealing with all specific SAT question types;
• The experience of working through hundreds of real SAT questions in class to ensure that the learned techniques and strategies are properly integrated into the student’s test-taking practice;
• The direction, guidance and structure necessary to ensure your child stays on track and motivated;
• Access to the instructor in-between classes, via e-mail or over the phone, and even after the course is completed.  

In return, your child will be asked to:  

• Work through, score and grade one genuine SAT each week for homework;
• Return all practice exam results to the instructor each week so that we can keep track of your child’s progress and tailor subsequent advice to meet his or her particular needs;
• Tell the instructor about any and all SAT practice problems that are incomprehensible or that take too long to solve, so that the instructor can explain how to attack and handle such questions;
• Honestly assess his or her personal weaknesses as a test-taker so that the instructor can address those issues directly and effectively.

  Our instructors are trained, experienced and expert test-takers.  We believe that the heart of a top-end preparation course lies in the quality of its instructor.  Unlike many companies, we hire instructors that have real teaching experience and professional degrees or credentials from top colleges and universities, not just successful test takers who were recruited because they scored well on their own exams.  We also place a great deal of value on the personal characteristics of our instructors.  We feel it is important to hire instructors that are compassionate, charismatic and who love to teach.

All classes meet once a week for three hours and fifteen minutes, and are guaranteed by our Free-Repeat policy.  Enrollees are also eligible to receive extra tutoring at a discount rate of $30/hr.
